Nurturing Culture, Inspiring The Future

On April 23, a meaningful step toward cultural education and social responsibility was taken as the Qingdao Chamber of Import and Export Enterprises, together with the “Love Fund” of the Qingdao Charity Federation, officially signed a charitable cooperation agreement with Licun Primary School.
Mr. Owen, Vice President of the Chamber and General Manager of Qingdao I-FLOW Co., Ltd., attended the ceremony on behalf of the Chamber. Acting in both leadership and corporate roles, he demonstrated a strong commitment to social responsibility by helping channel resources toward the revival of the school’s Peking Opera education program—bringing this treasured traditional art form back into the classroom.


Reviving a Cultural Legacy Through Education

Licun Primary School has long been recognized for its unique Peking Opera curriculum, first introduced in 2012. Over the years, the program enriched students’ cultural awareness and provided a meaningful platform for experiencing traditional Chinese art. However, due to funding limitations in recent years, the course was unfortunately suspended, leaving a gap in the school’s cultural education.
Through this new initiative, the Chamber and the Qingdao Charity Federation’s “Love Fund” have worked together to restore the program, ensuring that students once again have the opportunity to engage with this important aspect of cultural heritage.


Corporate Responsibility in Action

As an active member of the Chamber, Qingdao I-FLOW responded promptly to the initiative, demonstrating its ongoing commitment to corporate social responsibility. By supporting this philanthropic project, the company contributes not only resources, but also a shared vision of nurturing future generations through education and cultural exposure.
